Coronavirus was made in the lab? The scientists explained
Scientists refuse to produce the deadliest virus, COVID-19, in the laboratory or make it human. According to a foreign news agency report, some circles on social media about the new Novel Coronavirus spreading from China were raising suspicion that the COVID-19 virus was manufactured in the laboratory.
Scientists from the US, UK and Australia have dismissed the suspicion as saying that the Coronavirus is naturally made. No man-made it.
The research was published in the journal Nature Nature Medicine in which scientists say that as soon as the outbreak began to spread, Chinese scientists developed the corona’s genome and sent its data to other countries.
Scientists analyzed various components, including virus spike proteins, and found that RB-degradation in spike proteins targets receptor S-2, located outside of human cells, the report said.
The virus’s spike protein binds human cells in such a sophisticated way, which scientists have been forced to say may be the result of natural processes but not of human hands.
Evidence for this virus being natural is its overall molecular structure, and the structure of the spinal cord in this new virus is similar to the virus found in bats and pangolin. It is believed that the Coronavirus outbreak has caused more than 2,763,000 cases worldwide, while more than 11,000 people have died of the virus.
