Coronavirus: 21-day night curfew imposed in Saudi Arabia
King Salman bin Abdul Aziz has asked the citizens and residents of foreign countries to stay in their homes during the curfew for their protection from the Coronavirus.
Riyadh: The Saudi government has announced a 21-day curfew across the country, which will continue from today, March 23 to April 12, while the curfew period is from 7 pm. It will be until 6 am.
It may be recalled that there were 119 more victims of the Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia on the last day, after which the number of Corona victims has increased to 511.
According to the Saudi news agency “SPA”, Saudi ruler Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz in his royal decree has asked citizens and foreigners to stay home during curfew for their protection.
However, employees in key public and private sector industries whose work requires continuity will be exempt from curfew, while security personnel, military, media employees, health and service-related workers are also exempt from the curfew. ۔
