It didn’t take long for 2023 to find its new scream queen: M3GAN, the horror hit Certified Fresh was released in the first week of the year, representing another success for Blumhouse. But expect actress Jenna Ortega (who we named a Golden Year at the Golden Tomato Awards for her contribution to the dark arts) back for the crown with Scream VI on March. In this guide to the latest horror movies, we’ll be ranking the best horror movies of 2023 each week, which so far includes A bump in the cabin (from director M.
