Just over a month after its release, the surprise Hi-Fi Rush is getting its first major update that adds a long-requested Photo Mode and bug fixes.
The third-person rhythm-based action game Hi-Fi Rush is getting its first major update and with it comes a new feature that fans of the great cartoon game will love. Hi-Fi Rush was surprise-launched in January by Bethesda and developer Tango Gameworks, with no pre-launch marketing boost. It quickly gained a passionate following through word of mouth, such as its 10/10 rating on Steam and 89 on Metacritic.
Hi-Fi Rush lets players control Tsai, a kid who dreams of becoming a rock star in a wild sci-fi future that’s overrun by an evil corporation with a legion of robot robots at its disposal. Along the way, Chai is joined by new team members who help him in battle. Being a rhythm-based action that hits them, Chai knocks out enemies with a guitar along with his beat Hi-Fi Rushits killer soundtrack and the physical world that pulsates with the music. Hitting an enemy with beat deals more damage and offers bigger rewards that are paid out at the end of each battle. Critics praised the game for its gorgeous art design and addictive gameplay that made it easy for players to enter a flow state.
Hi-Fi Rush Players can now take snapshots of the game’s beautiful graphics, as Tango Gameworks has finally added a long-requested Photo Mode. The new feature will allow players to pause the game in the middle of the action to pose Chai and his four friends as they see fit. Photos can then be edited with filters, camera effects and frames at the player’s discretion, something players have been demanding ever since Hi-Fi Rush The shadow dropped after an Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct exhibition. The official Hi-Fi Rush The Twitter account also promised to launch a photo contest soon, giving fans the chance to win prizes for taking the best photos with the new Photo Mode.
The update also includes fixes for technical issues players are experiencing in the game. Some “UE4 Fatal Error” errors have been fixed, along with a fix for some issues that prevented players from progressing through the story after a certain sequence of actions. In total, the update fixes 21 separate issues that should make for a smoother, less buggy experience for a game that didn’t have many bugs when it first hit Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
Hi-Fi RushIts photo mode will certainly help extend the life of a visually stunning game that has been met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Photo modes are sometimes released shortly after a game’s initial release. This happened recently with God of War Ragnarok‘s Photo Mode, released just under a month later Ragnarok hitting physical and digital shelves. With a game that overflows with style like Hi-Fi Rushit’s guaranteed that soon social media will be flooded with some great photos that will encourage even more players to try this surprise.
