The Bachelor: Exploring the Mysterious Disappearance of Greer and What It Means for the Show
The bachelor returned with Episode 6 on Monday, February 27, and although Zach Shallcross was back in the picture after spending Week 5 isolated in his hotel room with COVID, another contestant was noticeably absent: Greer Blitzer.
After Shallcross’s positive COVID diagnosis completely derailed Episode 5, the week in London closed with the franchise’s first Zoom rose ceremony. Shallcross sent off Mercedes and Kylee, while Greer received the final rose of the night, leading fans to believe she would be back for episode 6.
So what happened to Greer? The bachelor? Where is Greer in Week 6? Greer went home or still is The bachelor? And which episode predicts that Reality Steve will be sent home to Greer Blitzer? We have the answers below.
What happened to Greer On The bachelor? Did Greer get COVID?
If you remember, Blitzer and Shallcross had a little argument during the Zoom cocktail party in episode 5. In his attempt to connect with Shallcross, the contestant told him, “I work in sales and the last time I had COVID was in end of a quarter, so I know what it’s like to have a goal that you’re trying to achieve and you’re stuck.”
Shallcross was very defensive after the comment, explaining: “I mean I think it’s totally different to finding my future wife than the end of the sales quarter… I put a lot of weight on this week and that’s disappointing . In a few weeks I could be standing in front of my person and that means a lot more to me than a quarter of sales.” Greer apologized for offending him and spent the rest of the night fearing that she had offended him and would be eliminated, but as we noted above, she received the final rose of the night. So what happened to Greer in episode 6?!
Several fans wondered if she had gone off on her own after the difficult week, but at the top of episode 6, host Jesse Palmer told Shallcross: “I’ve got some news. Unfortunately Greer is also feeling a bit under the weather.” He then confirmed that Blizter would not be free to date during week 6 because she started testing positive for COVID.
Where is Greer On The bachelor?
So where is Greer? Palmer said that although Blitzer is feeling well and asymptomatic, she is in her hotel room, in quarantine.
“If you can let her know I’m thinking of her and want her to get well as soon as possible—but not to be anxious and worried about it,” replied Shallcross.
Greer went home The bachelor?
Not just Blitzer not go home during week 6 but the preview for The bachelor Episode 7 sees her return to the show. She was seen knocking on Shallcross’s hotel room door, hugging him and telling the camera: “I’m back baby!”
Later in the preview, Blitzer tells a smiling Shallcross that she still sees something between them. But will he decide to keep her around for another week? Let’s see what Bachelor Nation’s favorite spoiler, Reality Steve, has to say about Blitzer’s time on the show.
