
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 completes its fourth year with the release of Season 11, which brings new Manhunt objectives, gear sets and more.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is closing the door on the fourth year of its seasonal content cycle with the release of Season 11. Titled Reign of Fire, this season will see players take on a new team of Black Tusk who are trying to bring down The Division, acquire new equipment pieces, search for a famous exotic armor from the first Division title, and more. While the update isn’t as huge as most players expected, its Season 11 Section 2 it is however vital to both the story and the actual longevity of the game.
Released in 2019, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 it wasn’t as popular as its predecessor, but it garnered a dedicated following, prompting Ubisoft to support the game with a full-scale expansion and 10 seasons of additional content. After the launch of the Warlords of New York expansion, Section 2 switched to a seasonal model, opting for a 3-4 month window where players would tackle new story objectives, farm new gear, and even engage in new end-game PvE activities. The arrival of season 11 is quite timely as well Section 2 it was finally released on Steam on January 12, 2023, due to Ubisoft’s exclusivity deal with Epic Games expiring.
Originally scheduled for release on February 7, Section 2Season 11 was plagued by delays and issues during game development. But now that these issues have been resolved and the update is finally live, players can experience what Reign of Fire brings to the streets of Washington D.C. In Season 11, players will face five Manhunt targets, starting with Charles “Chunks” Crawford. The main Manhunt target of the season, Zachary “Stovepipe” Beattie will become available after all four Manhunt sub-targets are dealt with.
In true bootleg fashion, Section 2Season 11 has arrived with new gear sets, brand sets, legendary weapons, exotic gear and more. Players will be excited to know that exclusive exotic Raid weapons will now drop Section 2His infamous Dark Zones. Speaking of exotic, the NinjaBike Messenger Bag returns from Section 1, and will retain its functionality from the prequel. The patch notes detail some of the changes coming to existing exotic and legendary gear, as well as detailing the perks and talents of the new weapons and armor. Season 11’s new weapons and armor pieces focus on the Marksman Rifle archetype and rely on players landing headshots to activate all talents and perks.
The Season 11 patch notes elaborate on further changes Section 2UI/UX, the Expertise system and more. Ubisoft has already promised this to players Section 2 will receive support for another year, with new game modes, new gear changes, and updates to the Weapon Specialization system.

CHANGES QUALITY OF LIFE
PVP
- Lower Skill Tier players will be able to use the Jammer skill against players Skill Tier 3 levels above their own.
- Fixed an issue where Shrapnel Trap would apply PvE damage in PvP.
- Exotics that are otherwise exclusive to a particular source are available as random infected drops in the DZ. Exotic weapons that can be obtained as random loot after killing enemies in the DZ:
- The Ravenous
- The Bighorn
- Kite carrier
UI
- Added an Inventory Pouch Space AR to the backpack to allow players to see the remaining space in their Inventory after looting an item.
- Added a checkmark that shows the current loadout.
- To find the checkmark, go to Main Menu – Inventory – Press H to Load.
- The Caches tab from the Apparel Event Menu will display the current Apparel Event cache image. When no Apparel event is running, the default cache box will appear.
- The background of the season tile will display the current event in progress.
- Added an item type display icon to the Reveal Clothing Cache button.
OTHER CHANGES
EQUIPMENT & TALENT
- Fixed Focus Chest Talent not triggering when aiming with Doctor Home Exotic Rifle and Oh Carol Named Marksman Rifle.
- Fixed issue with deconstructing The Doctor Home Exotic Rifle not giving exotic items.
- Fixed an issue where switching between two gearset loadouts that had at least two different item pieces would nullify the set bonus effect.
- The Twinkling Lights Talent from the Oh Carol Named Marksman Rifle can no longer be added to the Recalibration Library at the Recalibration Station
- Fixed issue with mark from Sledgehammer and Perfected Sledgehammer Talents applying movement speed debuff to player
SPECIALISATION
- The exclamation point now disappears after checking an item in the Expertise Menu
- Fixed the highlighted item in a Gear/Brand Set category not being reset when switching from one set to another.
- Fixed issue where scrolling a tool’s stats in the Specialization menu also scrolled the item list.
- Fixed the issue with the incorrect manufacturer name appearing in the Donation Materials tab of the Expertise Menu for the Fox’s Prayer Kneepads.
- Fixed issues with info panel for highlighted item not updating Mods and Dye fields.
- Fixed the issue with weapon expertise level not increasing when donating the Oh Carol Marksman rifle to the Recalibration Station.
- Fixed issue with Expertise level showing as -1 for all sidearm specializations.
- Added the missing “Insufficient materials” message that should appear when trying to upgrade any item from the Expertise category.
PVP
- Fixed an issue where players could enter the dark zone in both invaded and uninvaded without other players, turning Rogue just as they were about to log out
UI
- Fixed tooltip for “True Sons Broadcast Outpost” SHD Side Mission.
- Fixed issue with Full Stop Talent showing TAC-50 C Rifle signature weapon ammo icon.
VANITY
- Fixed minor clipping issues for Dark Path clothing event items.
- Fixed minor clipping issues for Santa Suit.
- Fixed minor clipping issues for the Gamology outfit.
