ABC’s new series The Company You Keep it’s full of everything we love about network dramas: thrills, romance, and incredibly attractive people doing business with regular people. Based on the South Korean TV series My fellow citizens, the series tells the story of a rogue and an undercover CIA agent who – unaware of each other’s true identities – accidentally fall in love over the course of a few nights in a hotel. But things get complicated when the duo’s professional paths begin to cross as well.
Protagonist This is who we areStarring Milo Ventimiglia as con artist Charlie and Catherine Haena Kim as agent Emma, the series looks like it could be a hit with thrill-seeking romantics: if Charlie’s burger-eating scene didn’t get your heart racing, it probably will. you are not human. Like all other primetime dramas, however, the show only airs new episodes once a week, so viewers who want to watch the pair cause/prevent mayhem (or eat more fast food) are out of luck.
Just because The Company You Keep only plays once a week, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in other fast-paced, career-oriented dramas in the days in between. In fact, we can name at least seven shows with similar tones and excitement that you can stream entire seasons of right now. And if you thought these CIA agents were cute? Just wait until you see the hot doctors, teachers and cops we have available.
So while you wait for next Sunday’s release, here are seven shows to remind you The Company You Keep.
